So, I think I’m done with my unannounced and unacknowledged hiatus. I’ve been thinking about what makes a music blog special to me personally and what keeps me updating it on a regular basis. Obviously, the most important part is good, new music. I’m not really interested in sharing music that most people can find on their own or spend too much time talking about old music and how I feel about it. However, I think this blog is most interesting when I weave songs with personal experience or my own personal fandom, so there’s no reason to really get rid of that either.
But, I’ve been doing this blog for two years with a pretty high success rate and despite this, haven’t really expanded much of what I do. To escape the boredom of monotony, I think I’m going to try to find new ways to talk about music and maybe even try to score some interviews depending on the interest. I understand that this blog has collected dust over the month and a half I’ve been gone, so in a way I feel like I’m going to be starting from the ground up again. This is daunting, but I’m also seeing it as an opportunity.
That all sounds so professional. Fuck. Here, have I’m a “I’m sorry I left you for so long” song. Let the healing begin.
Standard Fare- Darth Vader

Glad you’re back. What with no Spoiler Warning and no Digital Mumbles it’s been a far too Mumbles-less internet.
Don’t feel too bad- my blog’s needed a reboot since October 2011. But we did miss you, so feel a little bit bad. But good.
Yeah.
Digital mumbles was and is my number one spot to go to for music. When my 2D-Design teacher asked the class for our favorite bands/musical groups and I put down Adventure Club and Fight Like Apes, she told me she couldn’t put them on the class playlist since she wanted stuff that other people had heard of. That’s when I knew that Digital Mumbles was special.
This is the best thing.
I’m really glad you’re back. I’ve been checking your blog weekly ever since you left Spoiler Warning. I have only you to credit for my expanded taste in music. I’m glad to see an update.
I never realized how much this blog meant to me until it disappeared. That being said, thank you for expanding my musical horizons over the past couple of years. I’m so glad to see you come back!
